Familia!!!

I love Brazil!! The food, the climate, my district, the Brazilian missionaries, and the language!  It is super hard learning a new language, I know God called me to preach his word in Brazil in Portuguese! As it says in 1 Nephi 3:7 "the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save He shall prepare away for them that they may accomplish the thing which He commandeth them" if I humble myself and put my trust in Him, He will Prepare a way that I will accomplish this commandment!

The spirit is very strong here in the CTM, as long as I open my heart to it and pray for it throughout the day, I can really feel God helping me all the way.

One of the great things about p-day is  that we get to go to the temple, so this morning my district and I did a session. It was great, thankfully most of it was in inges.

How grateful I am that I have a loving Heavenly Father that cares about little Elder Rasmussen and his struggles with Portuguese.

Other great news, Wednesday (Jan. 25, 2012) Elder Ballard and Elder Anderson are coming to the CTM for a devotional!!! I can't wait, it will be amazing.

I love you all and want you to know that I am doing great and am truly where I am meant to be!:)
